Walkathon 2024 at Rolley Lake
Orange Shirt Day
Aug 12 was the final day of our "Guardians of the natural world " summer program for children age 6 to 12.
We explored the gifts of nature this week with hands on activity, art, play, music, walks etc. This last day we had with us our guest Elizabeth Mathers from "Salal and cedar" to help and direct the installation of a pollinator garden facing south in front of the church! This was made possible by a grant from the diocese, as well by the generous donation of beautiful plants from our local garden centre "Grow And Gather" on Dewdney Trunk Stay tuned, there are more photos and stories to follow about our fun and meaningful week! |
